REFLECTOR REPLACEMENT KIT

FOR USE WITH PERKO

800 SERIES SOLAR-RAY

SEARCHLIGHTS

This kit is necessary when replacing the reflector in an older series PERKO

searchlight. If the

searchlight has small reflector clips each attached with a single screw, then upgrade the light

using this kit.

This kit contains:

8- #8 32 x 1/4 inch Screws 4- Reflector Clips

8- #8 Nuts 1- Template

8- #8 Washers

Proceed As Follows:

1). Carefully remove the rear cover, noting that the four (4) screws hold both the cover

and the reflector in place. Discard the old clips, reflector and screws.

2). Place the template supplied in the kit on the searchlight drum as shown. Line up the

large hole on the template with the existing hole on the drum. Mark the two (2) new

holes to be drilled in the drum through the two small holes in the template.

3). Repeat step #2 for the remaining three locations.

4). Drill the eight new 3/16 inch diameter holes.

5). Using #8 screws, washers and nuts supplied, secure three of the four reflector clips in

place.

6). Slide the reflector into place, then insert and secure the last reflector clip.
